Minor Tweaks

Based on guest feedback we’ve added a few new things to The Roosevelt! You no longer need to bring your own coffee filters – we’ve added a reusable gold filter to go along with the coffee maker and grinder. For soup lovers there is now a soup ladle. We’ve also added dish towels and more kitchen hand towels. Lastly, blinds are installed in the living room window and on the front door to provide privacy as needed. Thanks to our guests for the great ideas!

On Blinds and Coffee Filters

Thanks to The Roosevelt’s first guests for a couple of excellent suggestions. We will be installing blinds in the front window and the door window, as well as providing coffee filters. If you’ll be staying at The Roosevelt between now and mid-April please bring coffee filters if you want ‘em – the coffee maker requires a 12-cup “basket” style filter.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament (March 20)

The Roosevelt is currently available for rent the weekend of March 20, which marks the First Annual Seabrook Classic 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Registration is $50 per team, which includes participation, an official tournament t-shirt, and prizes for the winners! View the event details for more information.

More channels, easier wifi

We had our first booking this weekend and got some great feedback that we were in need of some more cable channels (visit our Resources page for a complete listing) and we made some adjustments to our wi-fi setup so it’s easier for our guests to use. Finally, we added a dimmer to the loft lighting so you can adjust the lighting level to your heart’s delight!

We’re ready to roll!

The Roosevelt is open for business and ready to rent! Our reservation calendar for Spring is filling up quickly so make your reservation now for Spring. Now’s also the time to make plans for Summer as well – Seabrook is often completely booked as the warm-weather hits for the coast.
